RC Professional Saw - Torrified Birdseye
Apparently this process has been around a very long time, used as a method of stabilizing wood. Using heat hot enough to burn yet in the absence of oxygen, the wood gets torriffied. The amber glow on birdseye gives it that patina normally associated with very old wood. This is some of the prettiest wood I have worked. Milling it emits a smell of cooked maple syrup.
